Internet has been known as a medium to connect people with the new world of technology. Do we realize that internet had give a lot of advantages towards people that used it? In term of communication, business people can deal virtually without meeting face to face. In addition, by using Internet as a medium for business deal, it able to save time and cost. Internet also act as a social network where people can met new friend and contact with their old member by log in to website like facebook, friendster, and myspace.
There are 3 simple ways to get connect with internet. Firstly, we need to have a computer or laptop. The second step we need to choose Internet Service Provider. Last and not least, set up the internet software. To get connect; we have a choice whether to use dial-up or broadband. If we prefer to use dial-up, we need to use modem to connect it with PC. Therefore, using broadband require us to use additional hardware that will be provide by ISP. Nowadays, there are many telecommunication companies that provide broadband services in Malaysia, such as Celcom, Digi and Maxis.
